EcoEnergy takes part in the II European‑Ukrainian Energy Day

During 31.05.2011 – 01.06.2011 in Kiev at the hotel «InterContinental» EUEA will conduct the II European-Ukrainian Energy Day. In 2010, this event, although having been conducted for the first time, had brought together over 300 participants from more than 10 countries. This year EcoEnergy Scandinavia AB will make a presentation on constructing a WtE-plant (a waste-to-energy plant that produces energy and heat from municipal solid waste) in Donetsk.

The project’s main aim is to discuss priorities for a balanced policy in the field of energy saving and alternative energy development in Ukraine.

The event will focus on:

  • The strategy of the Ukrainian government to promote energy saving and diversification of energy production
  • The priorities for a new energy strategy of Ukraine, as they are seen by the international communit
  • Introduction to the Energy Community: its impact on the market of renewable energy in Ukraine
  • Energy efficiency as a strategic priority for energy security
  • Funding for bioenergy projects.
  • Funding for 'green' energy projects: the structure and basic requirements. Successful schemes for financing projects in Ukraine
  • Many other issues
