The environmental situation in China has forced the government to put emphasis on Green-tech and Clean-tech solutions. Hence great effort is made to accomplish sustainable energy solutions as substitute for fossil fuel and improvement of the environment. As in many other countries, household solid waste and landfills are a problem to society causing foul emissions and deceases. Despite the governments strive for sustainable solutions, the authorities has no instruments so far to measure the emissions of different solutions.

EcoEnergy is now focusing project development resources on the Chinese market and has a signed MoU with the city of Changzhou and a Feasibility Study is finalized. The market in China is estimated to a market equivalent of more than 1000 facilities. The objective is to accomplish the first financial closing in China during 2011.
